W.T. Stead to 4th Earl Grey
(July 10, 1888)
The Right Hon. Earl Grey K.G
My Lord
It is so long since I have had the honour of hearing from you, or of seeing your nephew that I fear you may have forgotten the fact of my existence.
I have however still pleasant memories of Howick, & (sic) I take the liberty of forwarding to you herewith the interview with Mr. Parnell, which I venture to hope you will read with interest. & (sic) I hope with more sympathy than is usual with communications from that quarter.
I shall be delighted to have your views on the subject.
I am your obedient servant.
William T Stead
